Apartment Shopping
Now... I LOVE to shop, everyone knows that. But apartment shopping is a whole different beast. Firstly, the cost to rent in Manhattan is rediculous. It's like buying Louboutin's (but a little more necessary). Secondly, the places are so tiny, and I have an enormous shoe collection. In addition, I have a billion boots which take up a lot of space, HELLO I WORK FOR A BOOT COMPANY. It's just a scary, scary thing putting so much money into something. A diamond ring comes to mind. Anyway, I am also super excited to move back to the city and move in with Nick. We always were great shopping partners.

Shoe Heaven

After 2 unfortunate deaths this week I had mortality on the mind. I really don't know what I believe as far as religion and afterlife, but I sure hope it's something like the cartoon above. I guess I think life and death are what you make of it, and everyone has the power to influence their life and afterlife in a positive way.

A White Wedding
Okay, Okay... I know I promised to stop the wedding jabber, but it's too darn fun. Being that I am a shoe-aholic, my wedding shoes are even more important than my dress. Badgley Mischka hit the nail on the head with this great wedding shoe. It is SO ME. Then, incase my tooties are hurtin from all the dancing, I'd get these cheap flat sandals from Rampage as a back up for the reception. Oh well, maybe in four years!

Funky Footwear in Japan
My co-worker recently went to Japan and took a couple snap shots of the funky footwear they wear across the ocean. I love the colors and all the loud details. Don’t the red flats in the second picture look like my Moschino’s? Love them.

New Orleans Jazz Fest
Jazz Fest was AMAZING.
Footwear choice is VERY important due to the amount of walking/heat. Basically 5 main stages are set up on a racegrounds, and there are tons of tents and booths with food and crafts. I rocked my cowboy boots & UGG flip flops most of the time. We walked like crazy woman and saw all the beautiful sights in New Orleans. I miss those Cafe Au Lait's already... can't wait to do it again next year!
