As previously mentioned, my style often reflects what I love most in life, music. Sometimes I’m a happy hippy, and sometimes I’m a brooding, angst ridden woman (PMS). None the less, music has always been a consistent in my life and has kept me going. Yet, I seem unfulfilled with my definition of my signature style. I often get to work and look in the mirror, “what am I wearing?”, “how old am I?”, and more often than not, “is this WORK appropriate??” Fortunately, I do have the "outfit freedom" at work, but that cannot be an excuse for me any longer. Maybe the happy hippy in me needs to tone down, or mature. My new style objectives are to dress more professional (Monday through Friday, of course) and to ‘wow’ myself on a daily basis. Here is a (in my opinion) good, fashion forward, work appropriate outfit, featuring the green Zara pants I can’t seem to take off, as well as the Steve Madden Oxford Wedges I love oh so much (they are also super comfortable).
I also tried the sock/sandals trend... I like!

Vintage Floral
I'd like to think of my style as rock and roll meets happy hippy. A little edgy, a little baggy anything goes. Sometimes I surprise myself and go 100% in the opposite direction. Today's outfit isn't a typical Lindsey get up, with a lace pale pink top, which has been all the rage this season and a vintage looking floral skirt. These aren't the usual colors I wear, but they are quite beautiful. I feel very girly and feminine today!

Fab Find
I hate to call myself cheap, but I am. I am very careful about what I buy, when I buy, etc. And that's why I am so freaking excited about these new shoes. About 4 months ago I spotted high high oxford type wedges at Zara and fell in love. The only problem was they were $250, way over budget for shoes I really didn't need. Shortly after I spotted the same Zara wedges on Cupcakes and Cashmere's blog, which I love. The girls got great style. So the shoes were back in my mind. I took Roe to Zara to see if she thought they were worth it-- no. To cut to the chase, I saw a very very similar pair at Steve Madden and snagged them as quick as I took a breath. I am now in love.

Need to be high... hehe
I'm having a shoe problem... I hate flats & rubber flip flops but my feet/legs are getting tired and worn out from all the height. Althought I'm loving the gladiator style with straps and studs and all that yummy goodness, I despise how they look on my short legs! Futher more, the new flip flop style of a skinny center piece up the foot doesn't give me enough coverage. I think I found my solution, Steve Madden's Kasidy. This shoe will give me a little height without killing my feet, and enough coverage so my foot isn't too exposed. Love it.
