Furs, Furs!

Sorry that was a really bad Follies reference....
Anywho, Cristina's mama and papa graciously gave me an old fur coat last week and lo and behold, I see fur all over the runways at New York Fashion Week.  Fantastic!

Alice + Olivia teamed up with Keds for this amazzzz limited edition sneaker.  I'd def buy the black or the pale pink.  They will be available at Alice + Olivia stores and Neiman Marcus this spring for $88.

Some Old Outfits

Here are some old pics I found on my phone... sometimes when I can't decide on an outfit I take a pic and send it to RoRo.  I think this was for Glamour's Women Of The Year awards.

This was for FFANY & QVC Shoes on Sale event, although I didn't end up wearing this!

This was Halloween :-)  I was a black cat!
I loved this outfit so much I might rewear it this year (esp because we didn't even end up going out)

Oh, The Weather Outside...

I was one of the unfortunate souls who trucked to work yesterday in the "Blizzard of '10".  Thank goodness I have my trusty UGG Australia Capstone boots to protect my toes!

On a sadder note, brit fashion designer Alexander McQueen died today of an apparent suicide.  Ironic since today is the first day of NY fashion week.  Although I've never been lucky enough to own any of his peices, I've always admired the brands tough but chic look, esp all the skulls.  Rest in peace.

Kreative Kitchen

I love our little kitchen on 83rd St, but it definitly needs a little love... or color!!  Me and Nick have the kitchen cart that is featured in the two pictures below.  First off I love color.  I feel like it really brightens up spaces and adds personality.  We have white walls and white cabinets, its very...white.  Adding color to the background would make the cabinets pop!!  I also enjoy how the first picture features different sized shelves.  Since we don't have much storage space, I think it would be amazing to get some shelving above our cart.

Green is so rich and fairly consistent through our space.  It is a restful color and symbolizes life and nature.  I feel it would really enhance our space.

This yellow color is bright and fun.  Our Bridge Art features a yellow panel and the two would correspond nicely.

The way the esspresso bookcase contrasts against the yellow is stunning, although our furniture is black so that wouldn't work :)

So in conclusion, we need to agree on a paint color, I vote for green! (red or yellow will work too).  And put shelves above the cart... AND a spice rack.
